Coral Bet £5, Get £20 in Free Bets – 18+, T&Cs Apply
Coral are one of our favourite bookies with a great all-round offering and a nice simple free bet to get you started.
The new improved (that is to say, more generous) free bet is a 400% bonus of your first bet: Bet £5 and Get a £20 free bet! A fine way to say hello and the free bet couldn’t be much more straightforward.
FreeBetsFreeTips.com readers who sign up to Coral and bet £5 on their first wager will get a free bet of £20 credited to their accounts.
That’s about it really, other than to say there are minimum odds of 1/2 (or 1.50 in decimal betting odds) for the qualifying bet.
The only things to note are that the stake is not returned with winnings from the free bet, the free bet has to be triggered within 14 days of registration, expires after four days and can be used as a single, double, treble, 4-fold and upwards accumulator, forecast, or combination bet.
Coral Bookmaker Review
Coral is part of Gala Coral, the Coral part to be exact. That is to say, the bookmaking side, along with Eurobet, as opposed to bingo and casinos. They have about 1600 shops in the UK, making them the third largest company on the high street. It was founded in 1928 by Joe Coral and has a history far too long and complex to recount here, so I’ll stick to what you need to know as a potential customer today. Coral are a safe, secure, British institution and offer an excellent opening offer, regular cashback deals and superb football odds, as well as a good range of sports, all with better than average prices.
They have made several updates to their website in recent years that have improved it greatly. It is a quick-functioning, easy to use and has a nice layout that makes finding a market and placing a bet simple. The casino, poker, games and bingo offerings are of a similarly good standard and generally have excellent promotions and offers. They have recently added a good mobile betting option that means they now offer everything a betting, gambling or gaming fan could want, with the exception of financial/spread betting. This, along with the good odds in all sports, make them a good option for people who want to stick with one bookmaker.
At the time of writing they do not offer live chat customer service, nor 24/7 player support, which is possibly the only gripe we could have with Coral. The customer service is usually very good though, via phone (they also offer a callback service) or email. The website has a very good “Extras” section, with Coral Radio, a results service, football stats, horse form and loads more useful resources. This is indicative of Coral’s size and stature and they are definitely worth signing up with.
